  • Cancellations between January 2, 2022 – March 1, 2022 will be subject to a $1,000 penalty as StandWithUs will be penalized by the trip providers for the cancellations.

  • There will be no refunds for cancellations after March 1, 2022, unless StandWithUs is able to recover any funds from our trip providers. We would then endeavor to pass this onto participants but cannot guarantee we will be successful in recovering funds at this stage.

  • In case of force majeure (emergency situation beyond participant’s control, government directives, weather that prevents travel, etc.) — StandWithUs will do everything possible to obtain a refund, which will be based on the refunds we can obtain from suppliers. While we will work towards this with all goodwill, StandWithUs obviously cannot guarantee this outcome.

Covid-19 Limitation of liability

  • I acknowledge the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic and accept my obligations to comply with any official guidance from governments or local authorities in Israel before and while I am on the Mission.

  • Please note that StandWithUs shall not assume any liability whatsoever for any refunds, compensation, costs, expenses or other losses of any kind incurred by you (including, where applicable, the cost of medical treatment and relevant tests and any follow on fees/charges regarding travel or accommodation changes as a result thereof), in the following circumstances:

    • If you, or anyone in your booking party, test positive for Covid-19 and have to quarantine for a period of time, or are notified or otherwise become aware that you have, or suspect you may have, come into close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 (or where they otherwise suspect they may have Covid-19) and have to self-isolate for a period of time. Such is the case whether this occurs prior to or during the mission. If this happens within 14 days of your departure date, you must contact us as you may no longer be able to travel and your mission may need to be cancelled. In such a case, StandWithUs will do everything possible to obtain a refund, which will be based on the refunds we can obtain from suppliers.

    •  If this happens while you are on the Mission, please notify us without delay as you may need to go into quarantine. StandWithUs will provide all reasonable assistance as is possible in the circumstances. However, StandWithUs will not be responsible for covering the cost of any curtailment of your Mission, missed transport arrangements, additional accommodation required, or other associated costs incurred by you. You must ensure you have travel insurance which may or may not cover some or all of these costs for you.  Here again, we will do our best to try and recoup any unused funds related to your personal costs, but make no promises that we will be successful in doing so.

    • If you fail any tests, checks or other measures imposed by a supplier, airline, port or airport, border control authority or other government body or local authority or fail to submit for testing or assessment when requested to do so, and as such you are denied entry to board the flight, entry to the destination, access to the services or you are otherwise unable to proceed with the Mission, or that portion of the Mission, StandWithUs will not be responsible for refunding money to you.  Again, StandWithUs will make every effort to recover whatever we can for you, but we make no promises that we will be successful in doing so.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

  • If a participant departs a hotel early without prior agreement for cancellation, credit, or refund, he or she forfeits any right for a refund. We will make every effort to try to recoup funds for you but make no promises that we will be successful in doing so.

  • Hotels booked as part of a group tour package may be switched with similar hotels to accommodate availability at the time of the booking. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of similar standards. Hotel details will be stated in the final itinerary, and provided to participants prior to arrival.

  • Any damage done to hotels by the participant will be paid for by the participant.

  • All items not included in the package detailed in the itinerary (e.g. room service, extra drinks, etc.) will be charged to the participant.

    • You also acknowledge that StandWithUs and the suppliers involved in the mission, including airlines, hotels and excursion providers and others, will need to comply with national and/or local guidance and requirements relating to Covid-19, and have implemented certain measures as a result. This will likely include specific requirements regarding personal protective equipment, such as use of face-masks by staff (and you may be required to wear a face-mask as well), social distancing, maximum number restrictions on the use of certain facilities, designated alternative entrance and exit routes, mandatory hand sanitization, limited entertainment options and limited food/drink availability. We do not expect these measures to have a significant impact on your enjoyment of the mission and all measures will be taken with the purpose of securing your safety, and the safety of those around you.

MEALS

  • All meals provided on the Israel mission will be kosher meals.

  • StandWithUs will make efforts to ensure that meals, snacks, and drinks are allergy and dietary friendly for specific participants who listed their needs during registration. Responsibility for checking the ingredients for food and drink is solely on the participants’ — StandWithUs will not be held responsible for any damage or issue that might arise from the food and drink served over the course of the trip.

  • StandWithUs reserves the right to change the dining options listed on the itinerary as it sees appropriate.

  • Group meals will be served according to a set menu, determined between StandWithUs and the restaurant. Any additional dishes or drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) not on the set menu requested by the participant will be paid for by the participant who orders them.

ITINERARY DISCLAIMERS

  • StandWithUs reserves the right to make alterations to the tour itineraries as may be found appropriate or required for carrying out the tours.

  • Any meetings, briefings, or tours with diplomats or government officials are subject to the availability of the speakers.

  • StandWithUs reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to force majeure, inclement weather, security situations, etc. This includes Covid-19 related occurrences.

  • StandWithUs reserves the right to cancel the mission when reasonably required by the circumstances.

SECURITY

  • StandWithUs reserves the right to decide on which days a security guard/medic is needed.

  • Participants must remain with the group during all hours of activities, unless the trip leader has confirmed their absence with the StandWithUs staff. Participants who have left the group for whatever reason are responsible for their own safety and whereabouts during the time of their absence, and are responsible for returning on time.  During free time, participants are responsible for their own safety and whereabouts, and are responsible to return on time.

  • StandWithUs is not accountable for any damage, harm, or injury that might occur during the Mission.

  • Participants undertake to adhere to the local laws of each country visited for the duration of the Mission. StandWithUs will not be held accountable for any infringement of those laws.
